Company History On Call Computer Solutions was started in May of 2003 by Michael Frieder as a solo computer repair company focused on providing quality computer repair at a fair price to the residential market. In 2006 On Call began to become dually focused in both the residential and commercial markets as word spread about the swift response times, quality service, and great prices. In 2007 On Call made a complete shift from being a typical break-fix computer repair company to a newer concept in the commercial market called Pro-active IT Management which focuses effort towards preventing computer problems from ever happening by utilizing pro-active solutions instead of reacting to problems after they have already occurred and lost the company profitability and productivity. Armed with a large array of enterprise class solutions that save big money for small and medium businesses, On Call became the volume leader in the Tallahassee market by focusing on micro and small businesses as well as medium sized businesses. From 2007-2009 On Call grew rapidly and continued to improve it's response times and quality of service. In fact we currently have an average response time of under 1 hour for all of our commercial IT Management clients. In 2009 we also began to look for ways to get back in touch with our residential clients that we had lost touch with during our large commercial growth. In July we moved our office to a store front location in the Manor @ Midtown in the heart of Tallahassee's thriving Midtown area. Central and convenient, On Call began offering the low priced flat rate computer repair for residential clients who preferred to bring their computers in to us. It was a hit as the big box geeks of every variety lacked the true service and ability of a local IT Management Firm. Unlike the big box guys, and even some of our local competitors, we put our money where our mouth is with our guarantee: "Give us your computer and we'll give it back fixed... or it's free! Guaranteed." In addition On Call also opened the doors to its new Internet Marketing Division in 2010. After a constant struggle with growing On Call, Mr. Frieder decided that it was time to help his fellow small and medium businesses with a full array of internet marketing strategies from website design and e-commerce solutions to pay for click advertising to social media marketing and management. Today On Call employs a workforce of between 18 and 40 based on project load and serves as a one stop shop for its commercial and residential client’s technology needs. Our motto is that "We manage technology so you don't have to" and our primary goal is to help you succeed with the help of technology. |
